Для меня свет в этом проекте стал главным декором. Не дополнением к отделке, а тем, что держит весь интерьер вместе.
Я не стала делать привычную сетку точек в потолке. Свет здесь идёт на вертикальные плоскости: на окрашенные карнизы, на фасады, на зеркала и открытые полки. Отдельная история — рифлёное стекло перегородки, оно дробит каждый источник на множество повторяющихся бликов, и подвес отражается в нём несколько раз подряд. Получается уже не освещение, а рисунок.
Именно светильники связали между собой французский орнамент, красный акцент, лепнину и итальянскую картину в гостиной. Если их убрать, останется хорошая планировка и аккуратная отделка, но пропадёт характер, ради которого всё затевалось. При этом свет создаёт и настроение: в спальне мягкая рассеянная сцена, на кухне рабочая линия над столешницей, в ванной потолок светится отражённым. Вечером квартира выглядит совсем иначе, чем днём, хотя в ней ничего не поменялось.
О проекте
Квартира небольшая, но перепланировка позволила разместить всё без потерь. Здесь полноценная кухня с техникой и сервантом, обеденная зона, гостиная, где семья собирается смотреть фильмы, спальня с кроватью 160 см и просторная детская для мальчика. Отдельно горжусь гардеробной — для такого метража это редкость. Ванную мы оставили в исходных границах, и я считаю это верным решением: она получилась комфортной, не зажатой.
Отправной точкой были французские орнаменты в духе Dior. Голубо-синие, сложные, благородные, чуть воздушные. Заказчица очень любит эту гамму, поэтому вокруг неё мы всё и выстроили.
Красный появился интуитивно, через образ нежного кружевного белья. Дозированно, как перчинка. Он добавил глубины и женственности. Лепнина и обои с орнаментом в спальне держат парижскую линию, а картина итальянского художника — ту самую тёплую итальянскую душу. Отсюда и второе название.
Светильники
Docos Maisie над обеденным столом. Красно-белые диски, чистая геометрия, мне она напоминает Баухаус. Этот подвес держит центр композиции, без него обеденная зона просто рассыпается.
EDL-Light POLi Red над диваном. Плетение из шнура и букового бисера, ручная работа. Мне хотелось добавить в парижско-итальянский диалог что-то русское, и он звучит именно так. Абажур двухслойный, прямого света почти не даёт, работает мягким отражением от потолка.
Люстра с перьевым абажуром в спальне. Она про нежность. Свет рассеянный, почти беззвучный, орнамент на стене при нём остаётся читаемым.
Vakkerlight Ballet Model G, два подвеса у изголовья. Вытянутые, из выдувного стекла. Висят как серьги — украшение, которое к тому же светит.
Arte Lamp Electra, белые поворотные бра над кроватью. Единственная строго функциональная вещь в спальне: направленный свет для чтения, выключатель на корпусе, есть голосовое управление.
Lampatron BARRY LONG в ванной. Реечный светильник со стеклянными шарами синих оттенков. Для меня он читается как крупные бусы на шее. Главный декоративный объект комнаты, который заодно освещает раковину.
LampsShop Passage в детской. Арочная геометрия, поддерживает графичный характер комнаты.
Nordlux Gaston, бра у изголовья в детской. С деревянной деталью, наклон и поворот регулируются, так что ребёнок сам направляет свет.
Торшер Alney даёт локальный свет у рабочей зоны и хорош сам по себе как предмет.
Как это работает
В спальне нет ни одного встроенного светильника. Потолок остался сплошной плоскостью с лепным карнизом, а всю сцену держат люстра, подвесы, бра и настольная лампа.
На кухне подсветка фартука рисует световую линию. Кабанчик там глянцевый синий, и линия читается дважды: как сам источник и как его отражение.
В ванной лента спрятана в нише парящего потолка и работает только на отражение от матового полотна.
Всего в квартире 38 приборов и 11 контуров скрытой подсветки, разведённых на 20 постов коммутации — от полного дневного света до минимальной вечерней сцены.

For me, light became the main piece of decoration in this project. Not an addition to the finishes, but the thing that holds the whole interior together.
I decided against the usual grid of downlights in the ceiling. Here the light goes onto vertical planes: onto the painted cornices, the cabinet fronts, the mirrors and the open shelving. The reeded glass partition is a story of its own — it splits every source into a run of repeating highlights, and the pendant reflects in it several times over. What you get is no longer lighting but a pattern.
It was the fixtures that tied together the French ornament, the red accent, the mouldings and the Italian painting in the living room. Take them away and you are left with a good plan and neat finishes, but the character the whole thing was started for is gone. At the same time the light creates the mood: a soft, diffuse scene in the bedroom, a working line above the worktop in the kitchen, a ceiling glowing with reflected light in the bathroom. In the evening the apartment looks nothing like it does by day, although nothing in it has changed.
About the project
The apartment is small, but reworking the plan let us fit everything in without compromises. There is a proper kitchen with appliances and a display cabinet, a dining area, a living room where the family gathers to watch films, a bedroom with a 160 cm bed, and a generous boy's room. The walk-in wardrobe is what I am particularly proud of — for this floor area that is a rarity. We left the bathroom within its original walls, and I think that was the right call: it came out comfortable rather than cramped.
The starting point was French ornament in the spirit of Dior. Blue-and-lilac, complex, refined, slightly airy. The client loves this palette, so we built everything around it.
The red arrived intuitively, through the image of delicate lace lingerie. In measured doses, like a pinch of pepper. It gave the interior depth and femininity. The mouldings and the patterned wallpaper in the bedroom hold the Parisian line, while the painting by an Italian artist brings that warm Italian soul. Hence the second name.
The fixtures
Docos Maisie above the dining table. Red-and-white discs, pure geometry — it reminds me of the Bauhaus. This pendant holds the centre of the composition; without it the dining area simply falls apart.
EDL-Light POLi Red above the sofa. Woven from cord and beech beads, handmade. I wanted to bring something Russian into the Paris-and-Italy dialogue, and this one speaks exactly that way. The shade is double-layered, gives almost no direct light, and works through a soft bounce off the ceiling.
A feather-shaded chandelier in the bedroom. It is about tenderness. The light is diffuse, almost soundless, and the ornament on the wall stays readable under it.
Vakkerlight Ballet Model G, two pendants at the bed head. Elongated, in hand-blown glass. They hang like earrings — jewellery that also happens to give light.
Arte Lamp Electra, white adjustable sconces above the bed. The only strictly functional piece in the bedroom: directional light for reading, a switch on the body, voice control available.
Lampatron BARRY LONG in the bathroom. A linear fixture with glass spheres in shades of blue. To me it reads like a heavy necklace. It is the main decorative object in the room and lights the basin along the way.
LampsShop Passage in the boy's room. Arched geometry that supports the graphic character of the space.
Nordlux Gaston, a sconce at the bed head in the boy's room. With a wooden detail; the tilt and rotation adjust, so the child aims the light himself.
The Alney floor lamp gives local light by the study area and stands well on its own as an object.
How it works
There is not a single recessed fitting in the bedroom. The ceiling stays a continuous plane with its moulded cornice, and the whole scene is carried by the chandelier, the pendants, the sconces and the table lamp.
In the kitchen the backsplash lighting draws a line of light. The tile there is glossy blue, so the line reads twice: as the source itself and as its reflection.
In the bathroom the tape is concealed in the recess of a floating ceiling and works purely by reflection off the matt stretch fabric.
Altogether the apartment has 38 fixtures and 11 runs of concealed lighting, distributed across 20 switching positions — from full daylight to a minimal evening scene.
