Как спроектировать освещение в ресторане, если главный визуальный акцент находится за панорамными окнами?
ULLU расположен в горах Архыза на высоте 1900 метров.
Перед нами стояла задача создать уютную и функциональную атмосферу, подчеркнуть натуральные материалы и сохранить вид на Кавказские горы главным героем пространства. Освещение не должно было создавать отражения в панорамных окнах и конкурировать с пейзажем.
Мы разработали концепцию освещения, выполнили светотехнические расчёты, подготовили визуализации и карты освещённости, подобрали оборудование и выпустили документацию для реализации.
Из-за высоких потолков и наклонных балок для освещения столов использовали трековые светильники с узкой оптикой 7°. Локальные световые пятна выделяют гостей и сервировку, создавая камерную атмосферу без заметных отражений на стекле.
Направленное освещение раскрывает фактуры камня, глины и дерева, подчёркивает живые деревья и создаёт рисунок теней. Мягкая подсветка камина добавляет залу тепла и объёма.
Для открытой кухни предусмотрели равномерное рабочее освещение и локальные акценты на зоне выдачи. В VIP-комнатах вертикальное освещение визуально расширяет пространство, а акценты над столами поддерживают приватность.
Для кастомных подвесов, форму которых разработали BRO BURO, мы спроектировали внутреннюю светотехническую часть и подобрали оборудование с разной оптикой. Благодаря этому декоративные светильники стали полноценными источниками освещения.
Основной зал, вертикальная подсветка и открытая кухня управляются независимо. Диммирование позволяет менять яркость отдельных групп в зависимости от времени суток и сценария работы ресторана.
В результате интерьер получился тёплым, объёмным и функциональным. Освещение подчёркивает материалы, выделяет столы и помогает ориентироваться в пространстве, сохраняя панораму гор главным героем ULLU.

How do you design restaurant lighting when the main visual focus lies beyond the panoramic glazing?
Located 1,900 metres above sea level in the mountains of Arkhyz, ULLU overlooks the Caucasus Mountains. BRIGHT BURO’s brief was to create a warm and functional lighting environment, enhance the natural material palette, and preserve the connection between the interior and the surrounding landscape. Reflections in the panoramic glazing had to be minimised so that the mountain view remained the dominant visual element.
Our scope included the lighting concept, photometric calculations, lighting visualisations, illuminance distribution studies, luminaire specification and layout, and technical documentation for implementation.
The high ceilings and inclined beams required a focused approach to table lighting. Track-mounted luminaires with narrow 7° optics create precise pools of light over the tables, highlighting guests and table settings while maintaining low ambient brightness and minimising reflections in the glazing.
Directional accent lighting reveals the textures of natural stone, clay, and timber. Living trees are modelled with carefully positioned accents that define the trunks and create natural shadow patterns. Subtle illumination around the fireplace enhances its volume and adds warmth to the dining area in the evening.
The open kitchen was treated as a separate functional zone. Soft, evenly distributed task lighting provides comfortable working conditions for the chefs, while focused accents highlight the pass and tableware. This allows the kitchen to remain visually connected to the restaurant without dominating the guest experience.
In the VIP rooms, vertical lighting enhances the sense of space and gives the interiors a more refined character. Localised table lighting maintains intimacy and supports the overall atmosphere of the restaurant.
For the custom pendant luminaires, BRO BURO developed the external dome, while BRIGHT BURO engineered the internal lighting solution and specified luminaires with different beam distributions. This transformed the decorative elements into fully functional sources of light.
The main dining area, vertical lighting, and open kitchen are controlled independently. A dimming system allows the output of each lighting group to be adjusted according to the time of day, service format, and evening scenario.
The completed lighting scheme is warm, layered, and functional. It enhances the material palette, defines the tables, and supports intuitive wayfinding while allowing the panoramic mountain landscape to remain the defining feature of ULLU.
