Решение
Ключевой вызов проекта — замена МГЛ на LED без изменения визуального восприятия фасада. Наша задача — была не пересоздать, а аккуратно обновить, переведя систему на современную LED-базу.
Для этого были выбраны светильники ARHSPOT производства IPRO с тёплым светом 3000K и высоким индексом цветопередачи (CRI > 90), что позволило сохранить тёплый, «исторический» характер освещения. Мы разработали новые кронштейны, которые гармонично вписались в фасад, и переработали кабельные трассы, сделав их максимально незаметными. В результате здание сохранило свой узнаваемый ночной облик, но получило современное, энергоэффективное оборудование с долгим сроком службы.
Компания IPRO разработала и реализовала комплексное решение по архитектурно-художественной подсветке фасада ЦУМ. Работы выполнены в рамках масштабной реконструкции здания в 2025 году.
Предыдущая система на базе металлогалогенных светильников была установлена в 2000-х годах и морально устарела. Главная задача состояла в том, чтобы обновить оборудование, сохранив существующую световую картину.
Для акцентной подсветки архитектурных элементов были применены светильники серии ARHSPOT собственного производства на заводе IPRO в Тульской области.
Светильники обеспечивают направленный свет с возможностью точной настройки угла, что позволяет выделить сложные готические элементы фасада, не нарушая его архитектурную целостность. Установка выполнена с учётом требований сохранения исторического облика здания. Вся внешняя электропроводка выполнена в коробах, окрашенных в цвет фасада, проложена в местах, не вызывающих диссонанса восприятия архитектуры фасада, а кронштейны, на которых располагаются светильники сконструированы таким образом чтобы выполнять не только функциональную роль, но и в то же время не отвлекать внимание от фасада на технические элементы. С помощью цифровых технологий была создана индивидуальная краска, максимально приближенная к цвету фасад, это позволило сделать все технические элементы практически незаметными.
Результат
Фасад ЦУМ, обращённый к Большому театру, получил аккуратное и выразительное освещение. Подсветка акцентирует исторические детали здания, создает мягкую световую среду и органично вписывается в архитектурный ансамбль Театральной площади. Энергоэффективное оборудование обеспечивает надежную работу в круглогодичном режиме эксплуатации.

Project Description
TSUM (Tsentralny Universalny Magazin) is one of Moscow's most iconic department stores, located in the very heart of the capital. The building, constructed in the English Gothic style, is a listed cultural heritage site and a crucial part of the architectural ensemble of Theatre Square. In 2025, the Russian manufacturer IPRO completed a project to install architectural and artistic lighting on the façade facing the Bolshoi Theatre.
Lighting Objectives
- Create a distinctive architectural lighting design for the historic façade.
- Upgrade the outdated lighting system to a modern one without altering the existing light composition of the façade.
- Accentuate the Gothic architectural details: tall lancet windows, roof crenellations, and other intricate elements.
- Ensure a reliable and energy-efficient solution suitable for year-round operation.
- Integrate the lighting equipment without compromising the historical appearance or the restored façade elements.
Solution
The key challenge of the project was replacing the old metal halide lamps with LED technology without changing the visual perception of the façade. Our goal was not to redesign the lighting, but to carefully update it, transitioning the system to a modern LED platform.
For this purpose, ARHSPOT luminaires manufactured by IPRO were selected. They feature warm 3000K light with a high Color Rendering Index (CRI > 90), which helped preserve the warm, "historic" character of the illumination. We developed custom brackets that harmoniously blend with the façade and re-routed the cable trays to make them as inconspicuous as possible.
IPRO developed and implemented a comprehensive solution for the architectural lighting of the TSUM façade. The work was carried out as part of the building's large-scale renovation in 2025.
The previous system, based on metal halide lamps, was installed in the 2000s and had become technologically obsolete. The primary task was to upgrade the equipment while preserving the existing lighting composition.
For the accent lighting of the architectural elements, luminaires from the IPRO **ARHSPOT** series were used. These fixtures were manufactured at IPRO's own factory in the Tula region. They provide directional light and allow for precise angle adjustment, enabling the highlighting of the complex Gothic façade elements without compromising the building's architectural integrity.
The installation was carried out with strict regard for the preservation of the building's historical appearance. All external electrical wiring was placed in conduits painted to match the façade color and routed in locations that do not disrupt the perception of the architecture. The brackets supporting the luminaires were designed to serve both a functional purpose and to remain visually unobtrusive, not drawing attention away from the façade. Using digital color-matching technology, we developed a custom paint color that closely matches the façade, making all technical elements virtually invisible.
Result
The TSUM façade facing the Bolshoi Theatre now features a refined and expressive lighting design. The illumination accentuates the building's historical details, creates a soft and inviting light environment, and seamlessly integrates into the architectural ensemble of Theatre Square. The energy-efficient equipment ensures reliable operation in year-round conditions.
